Jafri Danish

Nestled along England’s border with Wales, Herefordshire’s Wye Valley NHS Trust faced growing demand and limited resources, particularly within its stretched community care services. To modernize outdated paper and spreadsheet-based records, the Trust launched a digital transformation project led by Danish Jafri, a technology specialist from the Bath and Bristol region. Under his leadership, a new Electronic Patient Record system was implemented using the EMIS Web platform, enabling secure, integrated access to patient data across community and hospital services. The project also focused on selecting lightweight, secure, and mobile devices for community nurses, supporting flexible, patient-centered care while meeting strict usability and security requirements.
