An Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining the IT infrastructure using the latest technology. An information technology infrastructure engineer requires all the IT systems that support businesses of any size to function efficiently.

Infrastructure Engineers are also known as an IT Infrastructure Engineer or a Change Manager. Infrastructure here includes Internet connections, cabling, virtualization platforms, and storage area networks.

With their expertise, infrastructure engineers ensure all of the systems within an organization function seamlessly. They work on site or remotely by evaluating all the systems within an infrastructure.
